Vander Wegen, Theresa #2 (1 APR 1860 - 9 MAY 1941)

Mrs. Theresa Vander Wegen, 81, a former resident of the town of Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.), died Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock at the home of her son, G.L. Vander Wegen, in Eau Claire. Death resulted from a complication of ailments.

The body was taken to Owen to the home of her daughter where funeral services were held at 8:30 o’clock, Monday morning and at 9 o’clock at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the Rev. C.D. Brady officiating. Burial was made in Riverside Cemetery at the Black River.

Mrs. Vander Wegen was born in Holland, April 1, 1860, and came to America when a small girl. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. J. Devine, Owen; Mrs. H.J. Bidwell, Stevens Point; Mrs. C. Johnson and Mrs. A. Denys, both of Green Bay; and Mrs. M. Springer, Beloit; and four sons, G.L. and Clarence of Eau Claire, Thomas of Thorp, and Frank of Duluth.

Her husband and three sons preceded her in death.
