Fisher, Frederick F. (18 JUL 1887 - 10 MAR 1941)

Frederick Frank Fisher was born at Ironton, Wis., July 18, 1887 and died at the Veteran’s Hospital at Milwaukee, March 10th, 1941, of cerebral hemorrhage. He was injured in action at Chateau Thierry, while in France with Company A of Reedsburg in the 32nd Division from which he never entirely recovered. He leaves to mourn his passing, five brothers, Charles of Thorp, William of Ironton, Louis of Milwaukee, Albert of Reedsburg, and George of Donna, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Feicher of Loganville, Wis., and Mrs. Rose Netz of Evanston, Ill., and 21 nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Thursday, March 13, from the Frieda Nichan Chapel at Reedsburg, conducted by the American Legion. Interment was in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery beside his parents, who preceded him in death by a few years. Two brothers and a sister also preceded him only by a few years.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Fisher with whom he made his home the past two years attended the funeral, also Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh Fisher.
