Anderson, Lucy Jane (19 Aug. 1863 - 16 Oct. 1953)

Mrs. Lucy Anderson of Unity, Wisconsin died Friday morning at 2:45 o’clock in a Wausau hospital at the age of 90 years, old age complications being the cause of her death. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Rev. Harvey Schall officiating, and burial was made in the Unity cemetery.

Lucy Jane Brown was born on August 19, 1863, in Michigan and was married to Charles Anderson on September 22, 1879. At the age of eight, she came to Clark county with her parents from Jackson county. They lived on a farm for several years and then moved to Unity where she lived 20 years before being taken to the Wausau hospital. She had been there for nine years.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Morgan of Unity and Mrs. Florence Rathjes of Kalamazoo, Mich., six grand children; 14 great grand children; three great great grand children. Her husband, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
