Kappy did many things in her life. She was a beautician, working in Owen and Abbotsford, Wis. Her favorite job was that of a cook for Holy Rosary Catholic School for what she regarded as "her kids."

She loved to have a good time. Kappy enjoyed playing cards, especially bridge, reading and gardening. Her kitchen table was a gathering place where laughter and tears were shared in abundance. She was never too busy to listen. Kappy was a blessing to many people during her life. To her extended family, she served as a wonderful parent that always had an open ear and a warm smile and would never "close the door." To friends, she was trusting and faithful, always willing to give time to those who needed it.

Kappy is survived by her children, Eileen (Raye) Hahn of Ogema, Richard Cattanach of Anchorage, Alaska, Mary (Terry) Dorn of Colby, Suzanne (Charley) Heath of Medford, and Patrick (Beverly) Cattanach of Fort Meyers, Fla.; and one brother, Angus "Bud" (Virginia) Lamont of Colby; 18 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
