Halverson, Henry (1870 - 21 Feb. 1952)

Henry Halverson, formerly of Colby, died of old age complications last week Thursday at the age of 82 years at the home of his son, Walter Halverson of Vesper. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, Feb. 25th, at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, Wis., Rev. F. J. Smith officiating, and internment was made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery. Pall bearers were John Marx, Carl Sabler, Otto Baumgart, Oscar Habeck, Ed Dehne and Otto Braun.

Mr. Halverson was born in Oconomowoc, and, at the age of ten years, accompanied his parents to a homestead at Dorchester, Clark county. He married Hazel Harris who passed away on July 20, 1934. They farmed in Clark county until 1935 when Mr. Halverson moved to Colby and resided here until September, 1951, when he moved to Vesper.

Surviving are five sons, Walter of Vesper, Lloyd of Curtiss, Edward of Glidden, Donald and Arthur, both of Wilmington, Delaware; one daughter, Mrs. Hugh Seefeldt of Riplinger; 13 grand children.
