Granton - H. F. Lindekugel

Petty Officer John Bergeman of the U. S. Naval Training Station, Great Lakes, Ill., arrived here Sunday to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gust Bergeman of Granton. He left Thursday evening for Great Lakes.

Rodney Hoeft was one of the lucky sportsmen to bag his deer the first day of the hunting season. Rodney brought back an 8-point buck, weighing 190 pounds.

Miss Marion Spry of Marshfield spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Spry.

Mr. and Mrs. George Zuelk of Chili, and Dalton Chase of Madison came Saturday to look over the button collection of Mrs. Charles Neinas. Mrs. Neinas has 1,000 buttons in her collection, no two buttons alike. Both of these men are button collectors.

Ed. and Bernard Prange of Kenosha came up for the deer season. Bernard was lucky in getting his buck. They returned home Sunday.
