Boe, Ethel (1 Feb. 1893 - 18 Nov. 1943)

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry Boe, Loyal, who passed away on Thursday, Nov. 18, were held on Monday afternoon at the Methodist church, Loyal, conducted by Rev. M. E. Taylor. Burial took place in Loyal.

Ethel Castner was born near Loyal on Feb. 1, 1893, the daughter of George and Lillian Castner. She was a graduate of the Oshkosh Teacher’s collage, and taught school several years previous to her marriage. Her marriage to Henry Boe took place in the town of Loyal, on Nov. 12, 1919.

Mrs. Boe was a member of the Methodist Church, the Royal Neighbors of America, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving are her husband, and two daughters, Lillian, a member of the high school faculty at Barron, and Beverly, a student nurse at Northwestern hospital, Minneapolis. She is also survived by a brother and five sisters: John Castner, Clam Lake; Mrs. Cora Mehler, Washington, D. C.; Mrs. Ray Kauffman, Madison; Miss Jeanette Casnter and Miss Valda Castner, Marshfield; and Mrs. Orville Wichman, Loyal.
