Meyers, Jennie (5 Feb. 1876 - 23 Mar. 1948)

Mrs. J. W. Meyers, a former resident of Colby, Wisconsin, died at Marshfield Tuesday, March 23, a heart ailment of two months duration being the cause of her death. Funeral services will be held at the Lulloff Funeral Home, where the body is lying in state, Saturday afternoon, March 27, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. A. C. Kipp, pastor of the English Trinity Lutheran church of Marshfield, officiating, and internment will be made in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

Jennie Behrens was born at Stanton, Pa., Feb. 5, 1876, thus reaching the age of 72 years, one month and 17 days. She was married to J. W. Meyers at West Bend, Wis., on June 2, 1898. They came to this locality about 40 years ago.

Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Ethel) Wood of Black River Falls, Mrs. Jake (Elsie) Hauser of Colby; one son, C. W. Meyers of Oconomowoc; two sisters, Mrs. L. Lussender of Chippewa Falls and Mrs. Wm. Maier of Neenah; two brothers, Herman Behrens of Colby and Wm. Behrens of West Bend.

There are eight grand children.

Behrens of West Bend; nieces and nephews, Miss Elvira Meier and Mrs. Jean Larson of Neenah, Mrs. Arthur Bielke of Milwaukee, Leon Lussenren, Lawrence Booth and Mrs. Robert Ryder of Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Arthur Van Garder and Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Brown of Stanley, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Meyers of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Armand Behrens, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Behrens, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Liebelt and son, Mr. and Mrs. Milan Knorr and Reginald Behrens, all of Marshfield; and friends, Joe Arends of Kewackum, Wm. Zarnke, Sr., of Stratford, Rev. and Mrs. C. H. Kipps, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Zoellner, Mr. and Mrs. George Roehborn, William Schultz, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Ehrike and daughter, W. D.
