Keller, Marcella M. (Marriage - 9 Oct. 1948)

Miss Marcella M. Keller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Keller of Curtiss, and Herbert A. Keller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schilling of Colby, exchanged marriage vows Saturday, October 9th, at St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford, Rev. Francis Brockman reading the marriage ceremony.

Miss Joan Keller of Curtiss was her sister’s maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Miss Eileen Keller and Miss Geraldine Keller of Curtiss, sisters of the bride. The groom was attended by his two brothers, Ervin Schilling and Thomas Schilling of Colby, and Roger Kobs of Colby, Wisconsin.

A grey gabardine suit made up the bride’s costume, to which a corsage of red and white roses was pinned. The suits of the bride’s attendants were claret red, black and forest green, respectively. They all wore shoulder corsages of yellow and white carnations.

Breakfast was served at the home of the bride’s parents and a luncheon and reception was held at the Curtiss hall. A wedding dance was held at Walter’s pavilion.

The groom is employed at the Hull Co-operative cheese factory in the town of Hull and the bride by the Commonwealth Telephone Company in Colby, Wisconsin. After a wedding trip to southern Wisconsin, the couple will reside in Colby and will make their home in an apartment at the George Wicker residence.

Relatives and friends came from Reedsburg, Thorp, Withee, Cazenovia, Edgar, Wausau, Marshfield, Greenwood, Loyal, Colby, Dorchester, Abbotsford and from Oregon, Illinois.
