Schuette, Arthur #3 (30 NOV 1889 - 26 MAY 1941)

A bolt of lightning struck and was fatal to Arthur E. Schuette, farmer residing in the Township of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.), about 2:15 p.m., Monday.

Mr. Schuette was working in his field and was riding on his manure spreader at the time of his death. The lightning also struck and killed one of his mules which was hooked to the spreader and left the other one unharmed.

Funeral services for Mr. Schuette, 52, were conducted this afternoon at 1:30 from the home and at the Viking Theatre at Loyal at 2:00 p.m. Burial was made in the Beaver Township Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, four brothers and two sisters.
