Neal Green left for Chippewa Falls Monday morning where he will attend a lineman’s school.

Mr. and Mrs. Glen Laabs, Concordia, Mo., are visiting at the home of his brothers, Arthur, Harold, and Frederick.

Week-end guests at the Ole Gilbertson home was Mrs. Pauline Hanson, Washburn.

J. S. Jacobson returned to his home in Scandinavia after spending the past three weeks on his farm in the town of Hoard.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Gilbertson, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Allen Larson returned to Fort Knox, Ky., Sunday after spending a week at the Melvin Gilbertson Sr., home.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Green, LaCrosse, spent Saturday at the home of his mother, Mrs. Minnie Green, to help celebrate her birthday anniversary.

The Rev. G. E. Borreson spent the week-end in Brodhead.

Mr. and Mrs. Richar Pohl left Sunday for Chilton to visit relatives. From there they will go to Lake Forest, Ill., to spend the holidays with their daughters.

An election was held at the annual meeting of the St. Paul’s Lutheran Ladies Aid Society at the home of Mrs. Art Thieme Wednesday. Mrs. George Hoff was elected president, Mrs. Herman Klocke vice-president, Mrs. Arthur Klocke treasurer, and Mrs. Anna Tonn, secretary.

Mrs. Fred Pudlas will be hostess to the annual meeting and Christmas party of the Helping Hand Society Friday, Dec. 17th.
