Ciutiss, Wis. - July 31, 1947

Mrs. Harry Laabs will be hostess to the Ladies’ Aid of the Ev. Lutheran church on Thursday, August 7, at the parish hall.

Mrs. Hugo Stock will be hostess to the Ladies’ Aid of the Ev. and Reformed church on Wed., Aug. 6.

Miss Nellie Sharp returned home on Friday after having attended the summer session at Eau Claire State Teachers College.

Miss Iris Johnson left on Saturday for Horicon to visit her sister and brother in law, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Schaus.

Miss Anna B. Hanson spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jacobson.

Mrs. Alfred Thompson is a patient at Memorial Hospital, Wausau, where she submitted to a minor operation on Tuesday.

Lavern Michlig, who has received his army discharge recently, returned home last week from Denver, Colorado.

Mrs. Doris E. Phillips and son, Billy, Jr., who spent the past three months with Mr. and Mrs. Albert Phillips, left for her home in Denver, Col., last Wednesday. She was accompanied home by a friend, Mrs. Bud Daniels, who came from Denver, Col., last Wednesday.
