Mr. and Mrs. John Grimes, former residents of Colby now residing in Milwaukee, held open house in the Methodist church parlors last week Wednesday in observance of their golden wedding anniversary. They were married on August 19, 1897, and for many years Mr. Grimes operated a general store in Colby before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
