Anderson, Lillian Inez (Marriage - 27 Sept. 1947)

Lillian Inez Anderson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. En Anderson of Withee, Wis., and Clarence Warncke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Warncke of Colby, exchanged marriage vows Saturday, Sept. 27, 1947, at the Methodist church at Withee, Rev. James Irish reading the marriage ceremony. Mrs. Alvin Gauerke, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and Miss Arlene Warncke, sister of the groom, was bridesmaid. The groom was attended by Alvin Gauerke and Allen Gauerke. Sharon Gauerke was flower girl.

The bride was attired in a white gown, floor length, fingertip veil, ninon over neinsack, with a "v" neckline. Her bouquet consisted of red roses and white carnations tied with a white satin ribbon. The maid of honor wore a floor-length dress of blue net over blue neinsack with a pink ribbon on one side of the skirt. Her bouquet consisted of pink carnations tied with a pink net ribbon. The bridesmaid wore a floor-length dress of pink net over pink neinsack with a blue bow on one side of her skirt. Her bouquet consisted of pink carnations tied with a blue net ribbon.

A reception was given at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being decorated with pink, blue and white streamers. Supper was served to about 30 guests. A wedding dance was given at Curtiss in the evening.

The couple will make their home in Marshfield where the groom is employed.
