Werthermier, Mary Jean (Marriage - 5 Nov. 1946)

Mary Jean Werthermier, daughter of Oscar C. Werthermier, of Watertown, and Raymond C. Wiersig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wiersig of Colby, exchanged marriage vows on Tuesday, November 5th, at the home of the bride, 810 Clyran St., Watertown, Wis., Rev. Harry Philo reading the marriage ceremony. The couple was attended by Miss Georgia Richards of Chicago and Walter F. Schultz of Madison.

The bride was attired in a deep cherry colored suit and her corsage consisted of orchids. Miss Richards wore a light green suit and her corsage consisted of gardenias.

A family dinner was served at the home of the bride’s aunt, Miss Gladys Mollart, after which the newlyweds left on a short wedding trip to Chicago.

The bride will live temporarily at the home of her father. The groom is athletic coach at Algoma, Wis.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and is affiliated with Alpha Chi Omega. The groom is a graduate of State Teachers College, Stevens Point, and is affiliated with Chi Delta Rbc and Sigma Zeta.
