Frane, Mary Francis (Marriage - 27 Apr. 1946)

Miss Mary Francis Frane, daughter of Mrs. Louis Frane, and P.M.M.1/C Lewis K. Hildebrand, exchanged marriage vows Saturday, April 27, in St. Mary’s rectory, Rev. N. Beschta reading the marriage ceremony. The bride was attended by her sister, Margaret Frane, as maid of honor and the groom was attended by his brother, Edwin Hildebrand.

The bride was attired in a mist green suit with brown accessories and her corsage consisted of sweetheart roses and lilies of the valley. The maid of honor wore a white wine suit with brown accessories and her corsage consisted of cream carnations and sweet peas.

A reception for relatives was held at the home of Mrs. Louis Frane, the home being nicely decorated with cut flowers and potted plants for the occasion. Covers were laid for 26 for dinner, the table being decorated with a white wedding cake, lighted candles and pale pink snap dragons and ferns.

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hildebrand of Mankato, Minn., parents of the groom, Mrs. M. Phillipi and son, Joe, of Marshfield, Mrs. Pat Phillipi of Ironwood, Mich., Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Roohr of Loyal, Mr. and Mrs. Art Frane of Athens, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Frane of Curtiss, Wis.

The newlyweds left on a wedding trip through Southern Wisconsin and will be at home after May 7th at Washington, D.C., where the groom is stationed in the U.S. navy.
