Barts, Erma F. (Marriage - 20 Feb. 1946)

Miss Erma F. Barts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armin Barts of the town of Frankfort, became the bride of Everett Denzin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Denzin of the town of Johnson, Wednesday, February 20th, at a ceremony which took place in the Peace Lutheran church in the town of Frankfort with the Rev. Ernest Notbohm reading the marriage ceremony. The bride was attired in a gown of white marquisette with train and a long net veil and carried a bouquet of white carnations and pink roses.

Mrs. Lila Mueller, who attended her sister as matron of honor, wore a gown of white taffeta with a floral designed skirt and carried a mixed bouquet of gladioli, carnations and canabery bells. Marlyn Denzine, brother of the groom, served as best man. Also in the bridal party were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Merritt of Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Denzin. Mrs. Merritt was gowned in pink satin with net skirt and Mrs. Denzin in a rose satin dress. They carried mixed bouquets of carnations, gladioli and canaberry bells.

Mrs. Denzin, mother of the groom, was dressed in powder blue and Mrs. Barts, mother of the bride, was in black with touches of red. Both had shoulder bouquets of roses.

A dinner and reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, which was attended by 80 guests. In the evening a dance was given at the Red River ballroom.

The couple will reside at Milan.
