Buss, Ottilie "Tillie" (April 21, 1920 - December 7, 2007)

Ottilie (Tillie) Buss, 87, Cadott, WI passed away Friday, December 7, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls.

Tillie was born on April 21, 1920 to Gottlieb and Ava Isler in the Township of Reseburg, rural Withee, in the Thorp area. Ottilie and Elmer Buss were united in marriage on June 1, 1938 at the Lutheran parsonage in Thorp. Tillie was a homemaker all her life and raised eleven children.

The past few years she lived with her sons and families, Dennis of Cadott and David of rural Thorp.

Tillie is survived by five sons: Edward (Carol) Buss of Chicago, IL, Gary (Martha) Buss of Williston, FL, Jerry (Marge) Buss of Roscoe, IL, Dennis (Kim) Buss of Cadott, WI, and David Buss of Thorp, WI; four daughters: Marge (Jerry) Cerven of Stillwater, MN, Joan (Forrest) Carver of Tacoma, WA, Betty (Bruce) Schroeder of Poynette, WI, and Beverly (Glenn) Kuethner of Plymouth, WI; many grandchildren great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer; one son, LeRoy; one daughter, Evelyn Wolf; daughter-in-law, Patricia Buss; great-grandson, Bruce Buss, Jr.; and one brother, Fred.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery, rural Withee, Wis.
