Lowell Schoengarth to Wed Madison Girl

Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Johnson 310 N. Butler St., Madison, Wisconsin, are accounting the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Virginia Jane, to First Lieut. Lowell Dodte Schoengarth, son of Judge and Mrs. Oscar W. Schoengarth of Neillsville, Wis. The wedding will take place, Aug 7, at 8 p.m., in the Luther Memorial Church at Madison.

Miss Johnson, a dietitian, was graduated in 1942, from the Home economics course of the University of Wisconsin, where she was affiliated with the Phi Upsilon Omicron Sorority and has just completed her dietetics internship at Swedish Hospital in Seattle, Wash.

Her fiancé was graduated from the University of Wisconsin, receiving a degree in Bachelor of Philosophy, in 19139, and from the University Of Law School, in 1941. He is affiliated with Kappa Sigma National Fraternity and with Phi Delta Phi, legal fraternity, and the National Society of Scabbard and Blade. Lieut. Schoengarth is Company Commander of Co. "B" 29th Med. Battalion, Rockford, Ill.
