Gibson, Tom H. (1867 - 23 Dec. 1941)

Funeral services for Tom H. Gibson, barber at Abbotsford the past 21 years and assistant at the Reeves barber shop in Colby on busy days, who died at his home at 11:45 A.M. December 23 were held Friday afternoon at the Zink Funeral Home at 1:30 o’clock and at the Presbyterian church at Abbotsford at 2:00 o’clock. Stomach trouble was the cause of his death.

Burial was made in the Yolo cemetery in the town of Fremont. Rev. George Griffith officiated.

The deceased was born in England and was married in the town of Fremont in 1898 to Lottie A. Waterman. He came to Abbotsford from Chili 22 years ago. At one time he served as a Clark county supervisor. He was a member of the Masonic order.

Surviving are his wife and three sons - Rene of Eau Claire and Floyd and Roger of Milwaukee. Also three grand children, four sisters and three brothers.
