Greenwood Personals

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Scherr and daughters, Rometta and Margaret, of Wausau spent over the holidays here with Mr. Scherr’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Scherr. Other guests at the Scherr home were their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Florian Herrick, of Willard.

Mrs. Bertha Karsten, who spent the pas week with relatives at Curtiss, has returned here to the home of her mother, Mrs. Louisa Horn.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schneider of Merrimac were holiday guests here at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schneider.

The Intersee club was entertained Wednesday evening, January 6, at the home of Mrs. M. V. Overman.

The members of the Birthday club and their husbands attended their annual dinner held at the Lyon café at 6 o’clock on Sunday evening, January 3. After the dinner cards were played at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Bergmann. Prizes were awarded to Mrs. George Haeuser, Mrs. William Neunenfeldt, Mrs. M. W. Overman, Lawrence Cox, H. M. Bergemann and Don Warner.

Mr. and Mrs. Chal Perkins and the latter’s father, C. A. Corey, visited relatives at Loyal on New Year’s Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hill of Chili spent New Year’s Day here with Mrs. Hill’s brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wilcox***Rest cut off.***
