Jensen, Mildred (2 DEC 1939)

Dressed in a gown of white taffeta with a finger tip veil and carrying a bouquet of white rose buds and pompoms, Miss Mildred Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jens J. Jensen of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), made a lovely and attractive bride as she was united in marriage to Elmer Reichwald, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Reichwald of Milwaukee, on Saturday, Dec. 2, 1939, at the Thiensville Lutheran Church.

The couple were attended by Miss Beatrice Becker as maid of honor, who wore a gown of rose taffeta with wine accessories. Miss Dagny Holst of Withee and Eileen Boston of Milwaukee were bridesmaids, each carried a bouquet of American Beauty roses. Kenneth Pattow was the best man. James Rosseau of Milwaukee and Erling Jensen of Withee acted as ushers.

At six o’clock that evening a delicious dinner was served at the home of the groom’s parents, after which a reception for the couple’s friends was held.

Miss Jensen, who was employed at the Seaman Body Plant in Milwaukee, where she met her husband, who is also employed there, has many friends about Withee and Owen, Wisconsin. She has lived her childhood and ladyhood in the village of Withee, of which school she is a graduate. For the past couple of year she has been employed in Milwaukee.

The young couple have the sincere best wishes of all their friends of this community that they will enjoy their wedded life and home which they will make at Thiensville.
