Essex, Eva (1 JUN 1940)

Miss Eva Essex, Loyal, was married Saturday morning, June 1st, at 10 o’clock to Clyde Grambach, Loyal, before the altar of the Methodist Church, Loyal, with the Rev. Orlando Jewell officiating.

The couple exchanged vows in an attractive setting formed by a white heart-shaped frame at the altar. A large wedding bell hung from the center and streamers of white, pink, blue and yellow adorned the church pews. Flowers in pastel shades added to the attractiveness of the scene.

"Faithful Forever was sung by Dr. Edw. M. Trnka; "Because" by Patricia Haas and "Always" by Mr. and Mrs. Dale West.

Louise Wallace, Janesville, a cousin of the bride, attended as flower girl, wearing a floor length dress of white organdy and carrying a basket of mixed flowers. Billy Lee Trindal, Loyal, carried the rings on a white satin pillow. He wore a white suit.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Essex, Loyal, was attired in a gown of white silk marquisette trimmed with tiny seed pearls, and fashioned with a shirred bodice and full skirt. Her long veil of silk tulle, designed with a wide lace border, was held by a pearl tiara. She carried a bouquet of Roosevelt roses.

Attending Miss Essex were Miss Eunita White, Marshfield; Mrs. Eddie Essex, New Orleans, La.; and Miss Ida Welles, Eau Claire, Miss White wore a sheer blue dress, Mrs. Essex a dress of pink net, and Miss Welles sheer yellow.
