Klassen, Geraldine (JUN 1939)

The bonds of holy matrimony united Louis Dempsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dempsey of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) and Geraldine Klassen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Klassen of Neenah in a quiet ceremony.

The marriage was performed at 8 a.m. in the parsonage of St. Patrick’s Church, by Father LaQuay.

The bride is well known inn her community and has been very active in social affaires. The groom was educated in the Owen schools and has a host of friends in this community. For the past two years he has been employed by the Wheeler Transportation Co. of Menasha.

Following the ceremony the newlyweds took a trip to the northern section of the state where they enjoyed a three-day fishing trip and then stopped at Owen Wednesday and visited with relatives.
