Jarocki, John (10 FEB 1867 - 4 FEB 1940)

John Jarocki died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Hryniewski, in the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.) on Sunday, Feb. 4th, 1940, having reached the age of 72 years, 11 months and 24 days.

The deceased was born in Poland on Feb. 10, 1867. He came to this country in August 1893 and since that time has been engaged in farming in the vicinity of Thorp. Mrs. Jarocki preceded him in death in 1935.

Surviving are two sons, Walter and Martin of Chicago; four daughters, Mrs. Julia Hryniewicki of Thorp, Mrs. Josephine Church, Mrs. Rose Olejnik and Miss Frances Jarocki of Chicago; one brother, Stanley Jarocki of Chicago and one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Zawacki of Athens, Wis.

Services for the deceased were held at St. Hedwig’s Church on Tuesday morning, Rev. F.A. Kulig officiating, and interment following in the parish cemetery.
