Ceglarek, Jean V. (20 NOV 1911 - 7 DEC 1939)

Mrs. Benedict Ceglarek passed away at her home in Chicago, Dec. 7, 1939. Jean V. Malecki was born in Thorp, Nov. 20, 1911, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Malecki of the town of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) and had reached the age of twenty-eight years and seventeen days. On June the 29th, 1935 she was united in marriage to Benedict Ceglarek at Chicago, where they made their home. She leaves to mourn her untimely death, her devoted husband, B. Ceglarek, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Malecki, two brothers, Stanley and Louis Jr., four sisters, (Lottie) Mrs. Mike Lukasiewicz, (Lillian) Mrs. Alois Ogurek, (Anna) Mrs. Walter Wargolewicz, (Irene) Mrs. Anthony Ratajczyk. One infant daughter, Marie, preceded her in death, also one brother, Barney Malecki. She was laid to rest in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Chicago on the family lot of Paul Ceglarek.

Those who attended the funeral of Mrs. B. Ceglarek from Thorp were, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Malecki, Stanley Malecki, Louis Malecki Jr., Mrs. Mike Lukasiewicz, Mrs. Al Ogurek, Mr. and Mrs. W. Wargolewicz, Milwaukee, Mrs. W. Roytek, Thorp, Mrs. Kosikoski and son Steve, Mrs. K. Kedziora, Mrs. J. Gwiazdon, and also other relatives and friends of the deceased who called at the funeral chapel and attended the funeral which was held from St. Mary’s of Angels Church in Chicago.
