Staples, A. M. Mrs. (4 June 1864 - 29 Oct. 1939)

Mrs. A. M. Staples of Abbotsford died at her home two and one-half miles west of Abbotsford Oct. 29th, at 10 o’clock. Funeral services will be held at the home at one-thirty o’clock Thursday afternoon.

Mrs. A. M. Staples was born in Green Lake county, Wisconsin, June 4th, 1864, thus reaching the age of 75 years, 4 months and 25 days. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. R. Gardenier of Markesan. May 22, 1889, she was united in marriage to Albert Staples who preceded her in death. To this union four children were born, Grace, who also preceded her in death, Ray and Nellie of Abbotsford and Guy of Titusville, Penn. Two brothers also survive, Ray Gardenier of Markesan and Henry Gardenier also of Markesan, Wis.

Although never affiliated with a church she let the principles of the Bible guide her life. A loving, unselfish wife and mother.
