Wilczek, Sophie (17 SEP 1938)

Mr. Edward Koltis, son of Anton Koltis, and Miss Sophie Wilczek, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Wilczek of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), were joined in wedlock at a 9 o’clock nuptial mass sung by Rev. F.A. Kulig at St. Hedwig’s Church on Saturday, Sept. 17th, 1938.

They were attended by Miss Genevieve Koltis, bridesmaid and Ben Koltis, best man, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilczek.

The bride was attired in white satin with a long tulle veil and headdress of beads and braid. She wore a bouquet of white roses. Her bridesmaid wore an aqua blue dress, with headdress and short tulle veil caught with a wreath and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Mrs. Frank Wilczek wore blue taffeta and her bouquet was of chrysanthemums. The groom wore the conventional blue, his attendants wore oxford grey and blue suits.

A reception was held at the bride’s parents home after the ceremony and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends.

The newlyweds will reside on the Wm. H. Krause farm south of Thorp, where the groom is employed.
