Mallak, Helen (Marriage - 25 June 1938)

Miss Helen Mallak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Mallak, and Mr. Nils Safemaster, son of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Safemaster, were married Saturday, June 25th, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church at Butternut, Rev. Theo. J. Koenn, C.P.C.P., officiating. Mrs. George Engel, the bride’s sister, was bridesmaid and Delores Westburg, the groom’s cousin, was maid of honor. The groom was attended by his brother, Lester Safemaster, and the bride’s brother, Ervin Mallak.

The bride was attired in a beautiful white embroidered net satin gown with silk veil. Her bouquet consisted of roses, peonies and orange blossoms. The bridesmaid wore a white dress of all rayon moiré taffeta with a white hat and her bouquet consisted of carnations. The maid of honor wore a dress of white taffeta with white accessories and her bouquet consisted of carnations and roses.

A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey Safemaster, the home being nicely decorated with pink and white streamers for the occasion.
