Bangle, Rosena (25 MAY 1938)

Miss Rosena Bangle, daughter of Mrs. Ella Bangle, and Edward Neuman, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Neuman, were united in marriage at a quiet ceremony at the home of the bride, by Father R.E. Ortmayer, Wednesday, May 25, 1938.

The bride was attired in a white crepe gown with white accessories to match. She was attended by Mrs. Sherman Long of the town of Green Grove who was attired in a gown of blue. Both bride and her attendant carried a mixed bouquet.

The groom was attired in a suit of oxford grey as was the best man, Sherman Long.

Both the bride and groom are well known, having lived in or near Owen (Clark Co., Wis.) most of their lives. After the service a large reception dinner was served to 60 guests. The dinner was held at the home of the bride’s mother which was beautifully decorated for the occasion, as was the table having a large wedding cake for the center piece and larege bouquets of flowers of the season setting about the room.

In the evening a wedding dance was given at the 19th hole tavern which was attended by a host of friends. The couple will make their home in the town of Green Grove. Their wide circle of friends wish them a happy wedded life.
