SHIRLEY SCHMITZ IS WED TO ELDRED TESMER

Town Line - Miss Shirley Schmitz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Schmitz of the town of Fremont, was married to Eldred Tesmer, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. Tesmer of Christie, at the Catholic parsonage at Bakerville on Wednesday, July 15.

The young couple was attended by Miss Gladys Guff, cousin of the bride, and Raymond Tesmer, a brother of the groom.

The bride wore a white satin dress and a fingertip length veil. The groom was dressed in a dark suit.

The bride attended the Heathville grade school and graduated from the Loyal High School with the class of 1940. She spent last year in Washington, D. C., returning home in January. She was employed in Neillsville at the time of her marriage.

The groom is a graduate of the Neillsville High School.

The young couple will go to housekeeping in part of the Tesmer farm house, and will operate the Tesmer farm.

A shower and dance were given at the Chili hall in honor of Shirley Schmitz and Eldred Tesmer. A great many useful gifts were presented.
