Willard Resident Dies Last Night

Greenwood--Mrs. Mary Petkovsek, 57, died at her home in North Willard at 11 o'clock last night as a result of mastoid trouble and diabetes, from which she had been suffering for some time.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. John Trinko officiating, and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

Mrs. Petkovsek is survived by her husband, John, and 10 children, five of whom are married, as well as by six grandchildren.

She had been a resident of Willard for 25 years.

Rites at Willard for Mrs. John Petkovsek

Greenwood--Funeral services for Mrs. John Petkovsek were held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Holy Family Catholic church, Willard and burial was made in the Willard cemetery.

Mrs. Petkovsek died Monday at her home in North Willard of heart disease. The Rev. John Trinko officiated at the funeral rite.

Pallbearers at the service were Mike Artach, John Lucas, John Gregorich, John Snedic sr., Valentine Yeras and John Bukovec.

Mary Petkovsek was born in Jugoslavia Dec. 28, 1879, and came to America 30 years ago. Four years later she married at Spingfield, Ill. and has been a resident of Willard for the past 25 years.

She is survived by her husband who is critically ill and was unable to attend the funeral; 10 children Anton, John, Martin, and Frank, town of Mead, Mrs. Mary Beton, Mrs. Anne Lassen, Mrs. Frances Bruske, and Joe, Chicago, Willian and Dorothy, at home; seven grandchildren; five sisters and many other relatives in Springfield, Ill.
