Flora, Joyce V. (1 JUN 1938)

Arthur S. Samuelson, son of Andrew Samuelson, and Miss Joyce Verona Flora, daughter of Mrs. Ethel Flora of Stanley, were married by Rev. J. Midtlien at our Savior’s Lutheran Parsonage at Stanley at 1:30 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, June 1st, 1938. They were attended by David Erickson and June Flora, sister of the bride.

The bride’s dress was of white silk embroidered organdy and she wore a white hat and veil combination, and white slippers. She carried Briarcliff roses and lilies of the valley. Her bridesmaid wore a gown of pink embroidered net, adorned with a wreath and small bouquet of sweet peas and Johanna Hill roses. She also wore white slippers. About fifty friends and relatives attended the reception which was held at the Samuelson home. The table, etc., was trimmed in pink and white. The newlyweds will reside on the Samuelson farm in west Worden (Clark Co., Wis.).
