Hermann, Bernita L. (Marriage - 5 Oct. 1935)

Bernita L. Hermann, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hermann of Curtiss, and Gaylord N. Pipkorn of Westboro, were married Saturday, Oct. 5th, at 2:30 P.M. at the home of the bride’s parents. Rev. Edwin Becker read the marriage ceremony. Mrs. William Stecker of New Richmond, sister of the groom, acted as bridesmaid and the groom was attended by Mr. Harold G. Hermann of Milwaukee, brother of the bride.

The bride was attired in a gown of brown transparent velvet and her corsage bouquet consisted of swansonians and Johanna Hill roses. The bridesmaid wore a dress of green flat crepe and her corsage bouquet consisted of swansonians and roses.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, the home being nicely decorated with baskets of cut flowers, bitter sweets and autumn leaves.

The newlyweds will make their home at Riplinger where the groom is employed at the Christ Abegglen cheese factory.
