Vanderhoof, Lydia (19 Feb. 1883 - 12 Dec. 1969)

Spencer - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church for Mrs. Lydia Vanderhoof, 86, of Spencer, who died Friday at her home of an apparent heart attack.

The Rev. William H. Ruhbusch will officiate and burial will be made in the West Spencer cemetery. Friends may call at the Jasperson Funeral Home beginning Sunday morning.

The former Lydia Hoops was born in Wayside, Wis. (Brown County), on Feb. 19, 1883, and she was married at Spencer Dec. 3, 1903 to Albert Vanderhoof, who preceded her in death Nov. 25, 1957. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Ladies Aid and Guild and also a member of the Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Alvera) Voelker, Marshfield; Mrs. Ethel Bymers, Spencer, four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Martin, Fremont; Mrs. Harry Graham, Sycamore, Ill., Mrs. Herman Molle, Loyal; and three brothers, Martin and Ervin Hoops, both of Spencer; and Herbert Hoops, Fond du Lac.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, two sisters, and four brothers.
