NEILLSVILLE -- Evelyn Johnson, 93, of Neillsville died Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at the Memorial Health and Rehabilitation Center in Neillsville, Wis.

Funeral Services for Evelyn will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 4, 2007, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville, Wis. The Rev. Daniel Cole will officiate. Music will be provided by Judy Trunkel, organist. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home and from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Evelyn Anna Westphal was born Aug. 10, 1913, in the Town of Seif, Clark County, the daughter of Claude and Margaret (Wegner) Westphal. She attended Neillsville High School and graduated in 1932. On Sept. 16, 1936, she was united in marriage to Walter Johnson. She lived in Neillsville her entire life.

She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville, Wis.

She is survived by a son, Robert (Elsbeth) Johnson of Neillsville; two grandchildren of California; and a brother, Marvin (Arsula) Westphal of Neillsville, Wis.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; a son, Dennis; her parents and two brothers.

The Gesche Funeral Home is assisting Evelyn's family with funeral arrangements.
