Justman, Fred (22 Dec. 1892 - 21 Apr. 1934)

Fred Justman, age forty, resident of the town of Cleveland, four miles east of Stratford, died Saturday, April 21, at 7:20 A.M. at St. Joseph’s hospital of Marshfield, following an appendix operation. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning from the Martin Beyer home, town of Brighton, near Unity, and services at the St. Mary’s Catholic church in Colby at 9:00 A.M., Rev. Leo Lang officiating, and internment was made in the Colby cemetery. The pall bearers were Victor Frane, L. W. Frane, Peter Apfelbeck, C. Joe Kraus, Paul Mais and Earl Butler, all members of the Colby order of Catholic Foresters of which the deceased was also a member.

The deceased was born in Spencer and lived at Loyal before moving to the town of Cleveland a year ago. He was married June 20, 1916, to Miss Rose Beyer at Unity. His widow and two sons, Warren and Frederick, survive. He is also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Justman of Unity, and by six sisters and four brothers. They are Mrs. Herbert Lambert of Edgar, Mrs. William Schwantes and Mrs. Emil Martin of Colby, Mrs. Harry Hermanson of Spencer, Mrs. Maynard Yahr of Unity ad Mrs. Erich Larson of Minnesota. His brothers are Charles, Walter and Louis Justman of Spencer and Norville Justman of Edgar.
