Zulke, Marie (22 SEP 1934)

The marriage of Miss Marie Zulke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto E. Zulke, Colby, to Walter Glenzer, son of Mrs. Emma Glenzer, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), took place Saturday afternoon at St. Paul’s Lutheran Parsonage at Green Grove (Clark Co.), Rev. M.C. Goetsch officiating.

The bride was dressed in an ankle length gown of green crepe, a brown hat and brown accessories and wore a shoulder bouquet of roses, snapdragons and sweet peas. Miss Lorraine Zulke, sister of the bride, who was her only attendant, wore a frock of brown crepe, with accessories to match and had a shoulder bouquet of roses, snapdragons and baby’s breath. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Ronald Glenzer.

A reception was held and supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents; covers laid for about 40 guests. Garden flowers and streamers of green, pink and white decorated the home. In the evening a dancing party was given at Reels’ pavilion.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenzer will live with the groom’s mother for the present.

Guests from out of town included Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Westfall and family, Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Heyer and son, Jimmie, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Glenzer and family, Owen; Mrs. Bertha Echwig, Seattle, Wash.; Miss Ida Gayken and Lester Bowen, Curtiss, Wis.
