She was born Dec. 31, 1908, in Swansville, Minn., the daughter of the Rev. A. F. and Minnie (Wachholz) Ziehlsdorff. She was married to Alfred H. Oelrich on June 14, 1928, at St. John’s Lutheran Church North Spencer by her father.

She moved to North Spencer as a child, when her father received a call to be the pastor of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She was educated in St. John’s Parochial School. After the death of her mother, she helped her father and also served as the church organist until her marriage. The Oelrichs then farmed east of Spencer and in the Granton area until retirement. They then moved to the village of Spencer, where they lived until 1969 when they moved to Marshfield to live with their daughter, Bernice. Mrs. Oelrich continued to live with her daughter until entering the Center in February 1993.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid and the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.

She is survived by her two daughters, Bernice Scheibe of Marshfield and Cora (the Rev. William) Robinson of Random Lake; her son, Lloyd (Kathleen) Oelrich of Marshfield; her daughter-in-law, Virginia Oelrich of Spencer; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband on March 22, 1976; her son, Jerrold, in April 1990, and her infant son, Howard, in 1937; her sister, Regina Zuelke; and her brother, Gerhardt Ziehlsdorf.
