Kennedy, Ellen (4 May 1850 - 29 Dec. 1931)

Funeral services will be held this Thursday morning in the Catholic church at Ingram for Mrs. Ellen (Hayes) Kennedy, 81, of Abbotsford, who died Tuesday after a brief illness at the James Vandehey residence. Burial will be made in the Ingram cemetery.

Mrs. Kennedy was born May 4th, 1850, in Cleveland, Ohio, and came with her parents in 1861 to Marathon county. She was married to James Kennedy, and lived for 24 years at Ingram. After his death in 1924 she gave up housekeeping and had since made her home with her two daughters, Mrs. Vandehey and Mrs. Joe Morrow of Loyal.

Other surviving relatives are a son, Martin Kennedy of Ingram; a brother, Edward Hayes of Stratford, and 18 grandchildren.
