Klocke, Lorraine (9 OCT 1935)

A pretty fall wedding was solemnized last Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock when Miss Lorraine Klocke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reinhold Klocke, became the bride of Arthur? Peissig, son of Mr. Herman Peissig, of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.). The wedding was performed by the Rev. M.C.??sch at the Green Grove Parsonage.

The bride chose blue transparent velvet for her wedding gown and wore a turban of the same material. A shoulder corsage of mixed flowers and black suede slipper completed her outfit.

Miss Louis Klocke, the bride’s sister, who acted as bridesmaid, wore a plum colored crepe with hat to match. She also wore a shoulder corsage and black suede slippers. The groom was attended by his brother, Theodore Peissig.

A five o’clock wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents with covers laid for about ? guests. The home was tastily decorated with pink white and blue streamers. A wedding dance was given at Hinke’s in the evening.

The happy young couple will make their home for the present with the bride’s parents on their farm west of the village. Their many friends join us in wishing them many years of joy and prosperity.
