Grusecki, Martha (26 NOV 1936)

Chris Price of the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Martha Grusecki, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Grusecki of Gilman, were united in marriage by Rev. W. Kolman at S.S. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church at Gilman, on Thursday morning, Nov. 26th, 1936.

Stanley Dubicki and Helen Grusecki acted as best man and bridesmaid. Miss Agnes Price was maid of honor, another attending couple was Edward Grusecki and Julia Grusecki.

The bride was attired in a gown of silk chiffon velvet, with a train. The veil was trimmed with lace. She wore a corsage of gardenias. The groom wore the conventional blue.

A reception was held after the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, attended by relatives and friends.

The couple will reside on a farm northwest of Thorp.

Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Price and family, Julia and Edward Grusecki and Mr. and Mrs. Victor Drozd.

Responses

I saw your post where Helen Grusecki was a bridesmaid for Chris Price of the town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Miss Martha Grusecki when they married in 1936. I have a graduation announcement for Helen Grusecki Class of 1932, Gilman High School and possibly a photo of her. I'm not sure if the photo is hers but I suspect that it may be. These things were in my father's possessions, and my father was George W. Potts, Jr. The Potts family resided in Gilman for many years. If you have any photos of Helen I'd like to compare what I have. I can scan and attach the photo but will wait to insure this email is still working. Georgette Lamb
