Miller, Wilma J. (3 Aug. 1928 - 26 May 2007)

MERRILLAN -- Wilma J. Miller, age 78, of Merrillan, died Saturday, May 26, 2007 at her home surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with cancer.

A memorial luncheon will be held for Wilma at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 16, at the Methodist Church in Merrillan.

Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, assisted the family.

Wilma Miller was born Aug. 3, 1928, in the town of Pine Valley, Clark County, to George F. and Naomi L. (Cook) Geisler. She was united in marriage to William Tennant, and they had six children. He passed away in 1979. Several years later, she married John Miller. He was killed in a car accident after a brief marriage. She remained in her home in Fairchild where she worked for several years before moving to Merrillan.

Wilma is survived by her children, Diane, Frances, Melinda and Allen; two sisters, Frances (Harland) Larson of Neillsville, and Jean Stafford of Eau Claire; her brother, George (Sue) Geisler of Merrillan; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
