At a ceremony performed Saturday morning at 10 o’clock, in the parsonage of Sacred Heart Church, Miss Margaret Keideth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.O. Rasmussen, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Rueben Scheibe, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. Scheibe, Western Avenue. Father H.P. Toeller officiated.

The bride was tastefully gowned in brown crepe with brown accessories. Her sister, Miss Theresa Keideth of Thorp, as bridesmaid, wore a frock of grey crepe with accessories matching. The groom was attended by his brother, Ervin Scheibe as best man.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the groom’s parents and dinner and supper were served. Covers were laid for 21. Out of town guests included: the bride’s brother and sister, Jack Keideth, Miss Theresa Keideth, and Miss Elizabeth Zaborowski, all of Thorp.

The bride is a graduate of Thorp High School, class of ’26, and of St. Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing, class of ’29. The groom is a graduate of McKinley High School, class of ’26 and holds the position of electric welder at the Felker Manufacturing Co.

Mr. and Mrs. Scheibe went to housekeeping immediately at 705 ½ West Blodgett Street.
