Heathville - 4 July 1882

Editors Times: There was a bee on the road between this place and the Windfall last week and a number of bad places were very much improved. Let the bees swarm.

There was a select party at Mr. Andrew Heath’s Friday evening, music, dancing and laughing being in order. Mr. Brainard, of Neillsville, arrived just in time to attend.

Roswell and William Harding have returned from Dakota not quite satisfied with the country.

Mr. C. W. Rose was down from Sherman last week visiting friends and looking after his business interests in this place.

Mr. A. Dankmire has returned from Penzaukee brining his wife with him.

There has been quite a number of weddings in this place within the past few months and it is thought that there will be another one soon. We hope so, for we are quite sure of an invitation.

It has been reported that Rev. J. A. Benton is soon to commence holding services in the Heathville School house. All would be glad to welcome him.

There is to be an old fashioned picnic near Wm. Harding’s place the 4th; lots of music, a square meal, and an immense quantity of cool drink will be the order of the day.

Mrs. Hudson Davis, from Waseca, is visiting friends in this vicinity.
