--Delbert F. "Pop" "Dutch" Grap (May 04, 1904 - February 04, 1992)

Delbert F. "Pop" Dutch" Grap, 87,died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday, February 20,1992,at Heritage House of Connersville, IN, where he had been a resident since July 25,1989. He had been in failing health for about three weeks.

Born in Neillsville, May 4, 1904 he was one of 10 children of Gustave and Anna Hemp Grap. On April 26, 1927, he was married in Neillsville to Hattie Marie Doebler and they came to Connersville in 1942. For over 20 years he had been a deliveryman for Miller Dairy, retiring in 1973. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and was a 50-year member of both the Eagles and Moose Lodges at Connersville.

Survivors include two sons, Rodger Grap of Connersville and Gerhard Grap of Cambridge City, IN; eight grandchildren; a brother, Sam Grap of Marshfield, and a sister, Mrs. Helen Reindel of Scottsdale, AZ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, who died June 14, 1986, five brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, February 24, at Miller Funeral Home, Connorsville and burial was in Dale Cemetery, also at Connorsville.
