Micke, Veronica (17 JUN 1933)

The marriage of Miss Veronica Micke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Micke, and Robert Benzschawel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Nicholas Benzschawel, took place on Saturday morning last at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Father A.M. Muckerheide performing the ceremony.

Miss Delores Micke, sister of the bride, served as bridesmaid, and Luella Schoenberger of St. Paul, was flower girl. Joseph Micke, cousin of the bride, served the groom as best man.

The bride wore a gown of white satin trimmed in lace and beads, and veil held in place by a cap arrangement. She carried a bouquet of roses and jonquils. The bridesmaid was dressed in orchid crepe and carried a bouquet of tea roses and sweet peas. The flower girl wore a frock of nile green organdy and carried a bouquet of mixed flowers.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents after the ceremony, which was attended by relatives and friends of the happy couple. A dinner was served the guests to the number of forty-eight.

The newlyweds are enjoying a motor trip through the west and will be "at home" to their friends in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) after July first.
