Mayer, Tracy R. (Marriage - 18 Nov. 1935)

Miss Tracy R. Mayer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Mayer, and Mr. Percy Bemis, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Bemis, were united in the holy bonds of wedlock at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Fairview at 8:00 o’clock Monday forenoon. The Rev. J. J. Sheridan officiated.

The bride was prettily gowned in Indian rust crepe and carried chrysanthemums and roses. She was attended by her sisters, Miss Helen Mayer, who was dressed in green crepe. The groom, and best man, George E. Dimmitt, each wore brown suits.

Following the church ceremony the wedding party returned to the home of the bride’s parents, where a wedding breakfast was served, and dinner was served at the home of the groom’s parents. In the evening a dance was given to the friends of the newly weds at the Odd Fellows Hall. Tuesday evening a house party was held in their honor at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Mayer.

Mr. and Mrs. Bemis will reside on the Bemis farm east of town.
