Molle, Fred (21 Dec. 1870 - 10 Jan. 1945)

Fred Molle, aged 74 years, died of pneumonia Wednesday afternoon of last week at St. Joseph hospital in Marshfield. The body was taken to the farm home Friday from the Central Wisconsin Co-operative Funeral Home in Marshfield. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home and at 2:15 at South Green Grove Lutheran church, with Rev. M. C. Goetsch officiating. Burial was made in South Green Grove cemetery. Pall bearers were Henry, Louis, Herman and Albert Hardrath, Henry Molle and Charles Witt. Flower attendants were Joan Witt, Diane Molle, and Ethel and Arlene Schuette. Blanche and Irene Schuette sang. Those attending from a distance were Mrs. Emma Trapp of Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Warren Lewis of Spencer; Mrs. Elsie Ratzlae of Sanborn, Minn.; Herman Trapp of Windom, Minn.; Alvin Trapp, Albert Hanks and Reinhold Weber of Sanborn, Minn.; Mrs. Ray Vogel of Sleepy Eye, Minn.; Walter Haak of Hallway, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Schumacher and children, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Lapp and children, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lapp and Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Meyer, all of Mellen.

Fred Molle was born in Twp Rivers December 21, 1870, and was married to Ida Weber in the Green Grove Lutheran church. He received his education at Two Rivers and spent his boyhood there. When he was 12 years old he came to the town of Green Grove and lived on the farmstead until a short time before his death. Surviving besides his widow are two sons, Ernest of Unity and Albert of Owen; a daughter, Mrs. Otto (Elda) Raatz of Owen, and eight grandchildren.
