Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Vivian Hahto town of Longwood and George Acker town of Arpin, which took place Saturday, July 30th at the home of Rev. William J. Chellew of Arpin.

The bride was gowned in an ankle length white satin dress and wore a trailing veil of white with a coronation of pearls and diamond rhinestones. She carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and baby breath with fern.

Her attendant, Miss Bertha Hahto, sister of the bride, wore blue lace over satin for the occasion and had a shoulder bouquet of roses and carnations. The other attendant, Miss Gertrude Acker, sister of the groom, wore light blue organdy with pink and wore a shoulder bouquet of roses and carnations.

The groom’s attendants were Norman Acker, brother of the groom and Leslie Nikkinen.

The reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Piekola, sister of the bride. Covers were layered for 40 people.

In the evening a dance was held at Atwood.

The couple will reside at Arpin, Wis., where the groom is employed as a mechanic in a garage at that place.
